Stella Pelše is a senior researcher at the Institute of Art History since 1993 and Head of the Art History Research Support Foundation in Riga, Latvia. She holds a PhD in Art History (Dr. art.) and serves as a lecturer and supervisor for BA, MA, and PhD students at the Art Academy of Latvia, focusing on courses like “Post-World War II Eastern European Art.” Additionally, she is an expert in art history at the Latvian Council of Science.
