Stacey Savin

Dr Stacey Savin serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher within the Vascular Immunology of Pregnancy Group at the Robinson Research Institute, University of Adelaide. She operates under the School of Biomedicine in the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, conducting clinical cohort studies at Lyell McEwin Hospital (Northern Adelaide Local Health Network) and utilizing preclinical preeclampsia models.

Her research centers on immune and vascular dysfunction mechanisms in adverse pregnancy outcomes. Key interests include maternal-neonatal health trajectories after complications like preeclampsia and fetal growth restriction, environmental/social determinants of pregnancy health, and molecular pathways driving pathological conditions. This work bridges clinical obstetrics with immunological investigation to improve perinatal outcomes.

Savin actively supervises Masters and PhD candidates as a Co-Supervisor, reflecting her integration into the university's research training framework. Her position within the Robinson Research Institute—a dedicated perinatal health hub—positions her at the intersection of translational medicine and basic science.
