Maleesa Pathirana

Dr. Maleesa Pathirana is an adjunct associate lecturer and early career postdoctoral fellow at The University of Adelaide and Robinson Research Institute. She serves as a Study Coordinator at the Adelaide Medical School within the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences and is a research member of the Northern Cardiology Research Group led by A/Prof Margaret Arstall. Dr. Pathirana works as a clinical researcher under the Department of Cardiology at the Lyell McEwin Hospital.

Dr. Pathirana completed her PhD in 2022, establishing her expertise in cardiovascular health and maternal outcomes. Her educational background focuses on the intersection of medicine, cardiology, and women's health.
