Spyridon Kotsovilis is an Assistant Professor in Political Science at the University of Toronto Mississauga and Affiliated Faculty at the Centre for European and Eurasian Studies. His expertise covers modern Greek and Eastern European politics/history, conflict processes, democratization, cyberpolitics, and complex systems analysis. He integrates methodological training from the Santa Fe Institute into political research.
He earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from McGill University as the Neporany Doctoral Fellow. Teaching recognition includes U of T's 2018 Superior Teaching Award and multiple pedagogical grants supporting innovative course development.
