Dr. Sofia Ellina is a Lecturer in Law at Lancaster University's Law School, part of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS). Her research focuses on insolvency law and financial law across jurisdictions like the UK, Cyprus, Ireland, and the USA. She specializes in corporate rescue mechanisms, stakeholder interest balancing, and empirical methodologies such as quantitative and qualitative analysis. Ellina teaches Company Law (as convenor), Corporate Governance in Financial Distress, and Insolvency Law at the LLM level.
