Dr. Siobhan Smith is a Senior Lecturer in Law at Edge Hill University, specializing in Public International Law, International Human Rights Law, and Criminal Law with a focus on the right to education during armed conflicts. She previously held academic positions at Sheffield Hallam University, the University of Manchester, and the University of Salford. Her research explores the intersection of education, cultural rights, and humanitarian law, particularly in conflict contexts. She completed an ESRC-funded PhD at Lancaster University and an internship with the Global Coalition to Protect Education from Attack.
