Simon Leung is an Associate Professor in Structural Design at the Division of Civil and Building Services Engineering, School of Built Environment and Architecture. He serves as Course Director for the BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering (TAC Design Apprenticeship) and Course Leader for the BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering Apprenticeship. Previously, he held roles as Chair of the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) North Thames Regional Group and Regional Executive Board Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

His research focuses on technology advancements in construction, sustainability, and pedagogy in engineering education.
