Joseph Rizzuto

Joseph Rizzuto is Professor of Civil Engineering and Head of the School of Built Environment and Geography at Kingston University. A Chartered Engineer with memberships in ICE, IStructE and CIHT, he established the Sustainable Civil and Structural Engineering Research Group. His expertise spans structural design, concrete technology, and sustainable construction methods.

Research includes reciprocal frame architecture, rubberised concrete development, and urban flood forecasting systems. He authors technical guides on Eurocode-compliant steel design and promotes creativity in structural engineering education.
