Simon Douglas is an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Oxford's Faculty of Law and a Peter Clarke Fellow and Tutor in Law at Jesus College. He serves as Associate Dean for Graduate Students (Taught). His academic background includes an LLB from Liverpool University, followed by a BCL and DPhil at Oxford. Prior to his current roles, he was a career development fellow at Wadham College and lectured at Corpus Christi College and the University of Warwick.

His research focuses on the boundaries between property law, contract law, and tort law. Key interests include property rights in human biomaterials, legal remedies in trusts, and the historical evolution of property doctrines. Teaching: Leads courses on Land Law, Trusts, Personal Property, and Roman Law at Jesus College. He also contributes to the Faculty of Law’s curriculum.
