Sichun Yang

Sichun Yang is an Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, with appointments in the Department of Nutrition, Center for Proteomics and Bioinformatics, Department of Pharmacology, and Department of Physiology and Biophysics. He holds membership in the Molecular Oncology Program at the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Yang earned his PhD in Biophysics from the University of California, San Diego (2006), followed by postdoctoral training at the University of Chicago in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (2010).

His research integrates advanced biophysical techniques (SAXS, NMR) with computational modeling to study estrogen receptor signaling, cancer biology, and drug discovery. Current efforts focus on exploiting protein disorder for therapeutic targeting in ER-positive breast cancer.
