John A Katzenellenbogen

John A Katzenellenbogen is a Maybelle Leland Swanlund Professor Emeritus and Research Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Illinois. His research focuses on estrogen receptor biology, breast cancer therapeutics, and molecular mechanisms of hormone action. He has contributed significantly to understanding receptor allostery, drug resistance mechanisms, and PROTAC-based degraders.
