Sian Williams is a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Lifelong Health, School of Applied Sciences, University of Brighton. She holds a PhD in Psychology (University of Sussex, 2002) and currently works as a Visiting Senior Lecturer at King's College London.

Her research focuses on the intersection of psychology and medicines use, particularly investigating factors affecting medication adherence, the role of positive emotions in health outcomes, and assessment of medical/pharmaceutical skills. She specializes in supervising practitioner researchers in healthcare fields.
Recent publications examine pharmacy students' clinical decision-making, vaccine stability protocols, and medical education assessment frameworks. Key collaborations include work with King's College London and Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
Supervisory interests emphasize practitioner-led research, with experience guiding four PhD projects including one as lead supervisor. Current projects focus on Warfarin sensitivity in cardiothoracic surgery and pediatric medication refusal mechanisms.
