Shinhee Jeong is an Associate Professor in the Department of Human Resource Development at the University of Texas at Tyler. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University (2018), an M.A. in Lifelong Education from Soongsil University (2006), and a B.A. in Lifelong Education from the same institution (2004). Her research focuses on organizational behavior, leadership, mentoring, and adult education, with a particular emphasis on knowledge creation, employee engagement, and cross-cultural HRD practices.
Her work explores topics such as transformational leadership’s impact on organizational knowledge, challenges faced by international faculty, and the integration of MOOCs into workplace learning. She has also contributed to understanding generational differences in employee turnover, remote work dynamics during the pandemic, and the role of social capital in career adaptability.
Dr. Jeong’s recent publications emphasize interdisciplinary approaches to HRD, including future workforce scenarios and intersectional research frameworks. She frequently publishes editorials on mentoring methodologies and has conducted comparative studies between South Korean and U.S. educational and organizational contexts.
