Dr. Sherry Greenberg is the inaugural Evelyn Lauder Chair in Adult Gerontology and a Professor at the Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing (Hunter College, CUNY). She contributes to the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s Age-Friendly Health Systems initiative and serves on the Gerontology & Geriatrics Education Editorial Board. Her expertise spans gerontological nursing, primary care access, and neighborhood built environment impacts on health. Dr. Greenberg’s accolades include multiple Fellowships and national awards.

Her research focuses on Age-Friendly Health Systems, fear of falling, oral health disparities, and primary care access in underserved communities. Dr. Greenberg has taught at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral nursing levels, and worked in acute, long-term care, and outpatient primary care settings.
Dr. Greenberg holds prestigious Fellowships from the American Academy of Nursing, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Geriatrics Society, Gerontological Society of America, National Academies of Practice, and New York Academy of Medicine. She has received numerous awards for her scholarship and practice, including the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing Faculty and the Faculty Innovation Grant.
