Donna E McCabe is a Clinical Associate Professor at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing and serves as the Assistant Director of Education Programs at the Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing. She is a dual-certified geriatric and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with nearly three decades of clinical and academic experience focused on improving care for older adults.

Dr. McCabe's research and professional work centers on gerontology, psychiatric-mental health, integrated behavioral health in aging populations, dementia care, and substance use in older adults. She has led initiatives to integrate behavioral health into primary care, improve medication safety, and enhance nursing education through curriculum innovation.
