Sharon Wiley Wright serves as the College Chaplain at Emory & Henry College and Co-Pastor at the Emory United Methodist Church. She also holds an adjunct faculty position in the Religion Department. Wright earned a M.Div. from The Candler School of Theology at Emory University (Atlanta, GA) and a B.A. from Emory & Henry College (Emory, VA).
Her work focuses on spiritual development and Christian education, with a particular emphasis on supporting students during their formative college years. As an ordained elder in the Holston Conference, she brings 13 years of pastoral experience to her roles.
Wright's academic and pastoral activities intersect in fostering religous studies and spiritual life on campus. She is affiliated with the Office of Spiritual Life and teaches in the Religion Department, contributing to worship opportunities and student organizations.
