Shane Norris

Professor Shane Norris is a Professor of Global Health at the University of Southampton. His research focuses on maternal and child health, epidemiology, and public health interventions, with a particular emphasis on low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). He is affiliated with research groups including the Institute for Life Sciences and the Global Health Community of Practice.

His work spans global health disparities, developmental origins of health and disease, and the design of culturally appropriate health interventions. Recent research emphasizes precision prevention strategies for hypertension, health literacy programs for adolescents, and longitudinal studies on infant body composition.
