Professor Sefi Rosenbluh is a faculty member at Monash University's Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, affiliated with the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute. Their research focuses on cancer genomics, drug discovery, and genetic variants contributing to diseases like breast cancer. They lead projects on ovarian granulosa cell tumor treatment, SMAD4 variant classification, and precision oncology for triple-negative breast cancer. Collaborations span institutions globally, addressing UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health innovation.
Recent projects include leveraging cancer genomics for personalized medicine and improving diagnosis of sex development disorders. Key achievements include CRISPR-based discovery of breast cancer risk-associated genes and identification of drug resistance mechanisms in cancer.
