Scott Penzak, Pharm.D., is a Professor and Department Head at the Harrison School of Pharmacy, Auburn University, specializing in the Department of Pharmacy Practice. He joined Auburn in 2018 after extensive academic and research roles at the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Penzak’s research focuses on pharmacokinetics, pharmacogenomics, and drug interactions involving antiretroviral medications for HIV. His work includes therapeutic drug monitoring, characterization of nonlinear drug disposition, and clinical pharmacology support through the NIH Clinical Pharmacokinetics Research Laboratory (CPRL), which he directed from 2001-2014.
