Dr. Scott Muntefering serves as the Eugene and Ruth Weidler Drape Distinguished Professor in Music Education at Wartburg College, where he teaches instrumental music education courses and applied trumpet while directing the Wartburg Symphonic Band, Brass Choir, and Trumpet Choir. He maintains significant external affiliations as a member of the Kentucky Baroque Trumpets early music ensemble and as a 2015 National Community Band appointee.
