Dr. Sarah Thompson is a Researcher at the Children's Social Care Research and Development Center (CASCADE) within Cardiff University's School of Social Sciences. Her work focuses on improving outcomes for autistic children in care, social work staff well-being, and evaluating social care interventions. Since 2019, she has led projects including evaluations of trauma-informed domestic abuse services, Schwartz Rounds for staff mental health, and devolved budget models in children's social care.
