Sarah Sabina Zöchling is a Researcher and scientific project assistant (Praedoc) at the University of Vienna's Department of Economic and Social History, affiliated with the FWF Project 'Categorizing, Registering and Reporting of Mobility and Stay' led by Sigrid Wadauer. She holds a MA in History (2024), BA in History (2020), BEd in German/History and Political Education (2020), and a BA in Romance Studies Portuguese (2018). She also studied as an Erasmus student at Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2018–2019).
Her research focuses on mobility studies, social history, and historical documentation, with recent work centered on biographical analyses of historical figures through street naming practices in Linz. She has published entries in the Linzer Straßennamenkommission reports (2022), examining figures like Ludwig Anzengruber, Friedrich Nietzsche, and Richard Wagner within their historical contexts. Her academic career includes scholarships such as the COST Training School grant (2020) and a 10-month Erasmus grant (2018–2019).
