Sarah Percy is an Assistant Professor in Marketing at the Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham, based at the Dubai campus. She has been a core faculty member since 2022, teaching and leading key modules in the MSc Marketing and BSc Business Management with Marketing programs.
Her academic journey includes a PhD from the University of Sheffield (2015), an MSc in International Marketing Management from the University of Leeds (2005), and a BSc (Hons) in Business Management from the University of East Anglia (2004).
Sarah's research focuses on innovation in family businesses and the integration of marketing theory with real-world practice. She is particularly interested in authentic assessments, coaching methodologies, and the emerging role of artificial intelligence in marketing education. Her industry background in luxury goods and services enriches her pedagogical approach.
Although no recent publications are listed, her teaching leadership in digital marketing, international marketing, and strategy indicates an applied and evolving research agenda aligned with contemporary marketing challenges.
