Sarah Lee serves as Head of Department for Sport at Hartpury University, a position she has held since 2015. She joined Hartpury in 2005 following her postgraduate studies and has played a key role in the institution's evolution and growth. As a Senior Fellow of Advanced HE and former TEF Subject Specialist panel member, she brings significant expertise in higher education quality assurance.
Her educational background includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Elite Performance from University of Central Lancashire (2015-2017), an MSc in Sport Psychology with distinction from University of Wales Institute Cardiff (2003-2005), and a 1st class BSc (Hons) in Sport and Physical Education (2000-2003).
Lee's research centers on reflective practices and positive psychology applications in sport performance environments.
