Dr. Sarah J. Hillyer is a Professor at the University of Tennessee, leading the Center for Sport, Peace, & Society within the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences. She specializes in leveraging sport to promote global social justice, equity, and peace. Her work has partnered with entities like the U.S. Department of State, Olympic Committees, and multinational corporations to empower marginalized groups through sport. Recognized by Hillary Clinton, her initiatives have impacted over 1,000 individuals across 80+ countries.
