Ashleigh Huffman is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee within the Department of Kinesiology and Sport Studies, part of the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences. Her work focuses on leveraging sport to address societal challenges such as community development, refugee integration, and gender equality. She holds a PhD in Kinesiology and Sport Studies (Socio-cultural Foundations) from the University of Tennessee, alongside an MS in Sport Studies and a BS in Physical Education.

Her scholarship emphasizes practical applications of sport in fostering inclusive communities, particularly through service-learning programs that bridge theory and practice.
