Leonard DeLuca is an Instructor of Sport Management at the Stillman School of Business, Seton Hall University. His career spans over four decades in sports media and programming, holding senior leadership roles at ESPN, CBS Sports, and IMG | Endeavor. He has been honored with Faculty Excellence Awards for his academic contributions.
Before academia, DeLuca served as Senior Vice President of Programming at ESPN (1996-2010), directing major events like the NCAA Championships, MLB Monday Night Baseball, and the creation of 'Saturday Night Football.' At CBS Sports (1979-1996), he managed iconic NCAA March Madness broadcasts and launched the SEC on CBS network. His expertise includes sports content strategy, rights negotiations, and audience analytics.
