Sarah Corrie is a Professor of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Counselling at the University of Suffolk’s School of Health, Sciences and Society. She is a Joint Head of the Counselling, Psychology, and Social Work division and also holds a Visiting Professor role at Middlesex University. With over 20 years in higher education, she specializes in learning and teaching for psychological professions, decision-making in complex environments, supervision, and formulation.

She has authored 15+ articles on these topics, emphasizing evidence-based practices and realist evaluations.

She has supervised numerous projects and led initiatives on student fitness to practice procedures, perinatal experiences of neurodivergent parents, and coaching’s role in mental health care. Her work bridges academia and practice through training, advocacy, and knowledge exchange.
