Catherine Lewis

Dr Catherine Lewis is a Counselling Psychologist with a specialism in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Roehampton, School of Psychology. She serves as the Programme Leader for the NHS-funded Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling in Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy and actively contributes to teaching on the Professional Doctorate (PsychD) in Counselling Psychology and undergraduate programmes.

Education: Catherine holds a Post-Doctoral Diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology, a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology (DPsych), an MSc in Counselling Psychology, an MSc in Mental Health, a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT, a Postgraduate Certificate in Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), a PGCert in Higher Education, and a BSc (Hons) in Psychology.

Research Interests: Her work spans protocol-driven therapies, clinical outcomes, and service evaluations, particularly in substance misuse. She also explores consciousness psychology, including dream phenomenology and precognitive experiences, bridging science, subjectivity, and therapeutic meaning-making.

Teaching & Supervision: Catherine trains future psychologists and therapists through her roles in the PsychD in Counselling Psychology and undergraduate programmes, emphasizing relational and reflective practice.
