Sara Rollet Gosman is an Associate Professor of Law and Dean of the University of Arkansas School of Law. She specializes in environmental and energy law, teaching courses on environmental law, energy policy, natural resources, and torts. Her research focuses on risk governance in energy infrastructure, particularly pipelines, and she actively participates in federal advisory committees such as the Gas Pipeline Advisory Committee (PHMSA) and the National Academies of Sciences committee on propane facility safety. Gosman serves as President of the Pipeline Safety Trust, a nonprofit dedicated to pipeline safety advocacy.
Education: A.B. (Princeton University), J.D. (Harvard Law School), M.P.A. (John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University). Prior roles include lecturer at the University of Michigan Law School, water resources attorney at the National Wildlife Federation, and assistant attorney general in Michigan’s environmental division.
