Sara Heidenreich

Sara Heidenreich is a Senior Researcher at the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture (NTNU), leading the Centre for Climate, Energy and the Environment (CLEEN). She holds a Magistra Artium in Social Anthropology, Political Science, and Comparative Literature from Freie Universität Berlin, and a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture (Science and Technology Studies - STS) from NTNU.

Research Interests: Her work focuses on sustainability transitions, energy justice, renewable energy (wind/hydropower), climate adaptation, and science communication. She leads projects like NTRANS (deep decarbonization), NorthWind (sustainable wind development), and SusHydro (hydropower sustainability).
