Sandra Stanton is a Senior Lecturer in Dance and Movement Studies at Hamilton College, appointed in 2023. She holds a B.F.A. in dance from The Juilliard School and studied at North Carolina School of the Arts, Bolshoi Ballet Academy, School of the Chicago City Ballet, and Chautauqua Dance Company. As a nationally certified classical ballet instructor through American Ballet Theatre's National Teacher Training Curriculum (levels primary to advanced) and a certified yoga instructor, Stanton brings extensive performance and pedagogical expertise from her professional career as principal dancer with Twyla Tharp's THARP! and LaLaLa Human Steps.
