Samira Awwal is a Researcher and PhD candidate at the University of Huddersfield, associated with the School of Computing and Engineering and School of Arts and Humanities. She leads the Smart House Project, focusing on psycho-social interfaces in smart housing and user-centric retrofitting of social housing. Her work emphasizes energy efficiency, sustainable design, and participatory approaches.
