Maryam Gusheh is an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture at Monash University. She specializes in adaptive reuse of buildings, sustainable architecture, and inclusive design for aging populations and people with disabilities. Her research emphasizes urban regeneration, housing accessibility, and policy frameworks for resilient built environments.
Key projects include the Retrofit Housing Atlas (2022), exploring adaptive reuse strategies in Australia; Reconfiguration of Shared Housing for People with Disability (2024); and the NCHA Independent Living Lab (2024), integrating technology and interdisciplinary approaches.
