معرفی
Leonor Domingos is a Guest Assistant Professor at the Department of Digital Technologies of ISCTE-University Institute of Lisbon and an Integrated Researcher at ISTAR-Iscte Research Center. She serves as Sub-coordinator of the Digital Living Spaces research group. She holds a PhD in Architecture from ISCTE (2017-2022) and an Integrated Master's Degree in Architecture from Lusiad University of Lisbon (2010-2017), with additional certifications in parametric design (Grasshopper/Rhinoceros) and BIM technologies.
Her research focuses on sustainable building technologies, energy efficiency in construction, resilient urban systems, and climate change adaptation strategies. She employs computational approaches and digital tools to develop frameworks for smart building assessment and historical building retrofitting. Her work bridges architectural design with environmental sustainability through parametric modeling and data-driven analysis.
She contributes to multiple European research consortia including Horizon Europe projects RETIME (urban disaster resilience) and SYNCLUSIVE (labor inclusion). Her publications emphasize sustainable materials, energy retrofitting, and computational modeling in architecture, with recent work exploring AI applications in building management systems.
Research Projects:
- RETIME (2024-2028): Urban disaster adaptation using data-driven tools
- SYNCLUSIVE (2023-2027): Inclusive labor market systems
- ManagiDiTH (2023-2026): Digital health sector transformation
- SPEAK_OVER (2021-2023): Timber-based heritage preservation
She coordinates the Digital Living Spaces research group at ISTAR-Iscte, focusing on digital solutions for sustainable living environments, and teaches courses on Project Planning, Building Rehabilitation, and Design for Sustainable Construction.
