Prof. Victoria Haines is a Professor of User Centred Design at Loughborough University, affiliated with the School of Design and Creative Arts. She co-leads the Design for Future Living Lab, focusing on bridging user needs with energy systems and technology. Her work emphasizes domestic energy use, human-environment interactions, and interdisciplinary collaboration with engineers and policymakers.
Victoria holds fellowships from the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors, Advance HE, and is a Registered European Ergonomist. Her research integrates human factors into engineering projects, particularly addressing energy efficiency and disadvantaged community empowerment.
