Dr. Sabrina Clarke is an Assistant Professor of Music Theory and Composition at Meredith College. Her work focuses on inclusive pedagogy and advocacy for historically marginalized composers. Her compositions, such as On Whale Beach: Dances for String Quartet and Love Songs for Ada, have been performed internationally. She holds a Ph.D. in Music Composition from Temple University (2016), an M.M. from Temple (2012), and a B.A. from McDaniel College (2010).

Research Interests: Her research examines gender, narrative, and temporality in 20th-century music. She has presented at conferences including the Society for Music Theory (SMT), American Musicological Society (AMS), and international events like the Women in the Creative Arts Conference.
Artistic Contributions: Her compositions have been featured at festivals such as the Penn State New Music Festival, Music by Women Festival, and the Geelvinck Fortepiano Festival in Amsterdam.
Teaching & Advocacy: Dr. Clarke emphasizes inclusive teaching practices and supports underrepresented voices in music. She actively advocates for marginalized composers through her pedagogy and creative work.
