Uriah Rinzel is an Associate Professor of Music and Songwriting at Dallas Baptist University’s College of Fine Arts. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Music Theory and Composition and actively blends classical, minimalism, and heavy rock traditions in his work as an award-winning composer and producer.

Rinzel’s research and creative output focuses on integrating classical and popular music idioms, with notable compositions including "Orca" (2015), "Cowtown Counterpoint" (2018), and "Snip" (2017). His works span chamber ensemble, electroacoustic, and wind symphony formats.

- First Prize at the Breaking the Fourth Wall New Music Festival (2018)
Rinzel has received commissions from ensembles like SYZYGY and the Meadows Wind Ensemble, and his compositions have been performed at international festivals and conferences such as Clarinetfest in Belgium and the Society of Composers, Inc. (SCI) National Conference.
