Michael Slayton is a Professor of Composition and Theory at Vanderbilt University’s Blair School of Music, where he also serves as Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Area Chair for Composition and Theory. His work spans chamber music, contemporary classical, and interdisciplinary collaborations, emphasizing artistic exchange across global contexts.
