Sabine Nitsche

Prof. Dr. Sabine Nitsche is a professor of management in the Industrial Engineering program at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (HTW Berlin) since 2010. Her academic journey includes a psychology degree from TU Berlin and UC Berkeley, an M.Sc. in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from LSE, and a doctorate in economics (Dr. oec.) from the University of St. Gallen with a focus on international human resources management.

In her research, she specializes in corporate health management, intercultural communication, and leadership development. She has led multiple research projects including InnoGema (Innovative Health Management), QPM-Pflege (Quality and Human Resources Management in Nursing), CompCare (Competency Management in Nursing Companies), and MenoSupport (developing corporate health concepts for menopause). Her work bridges practical HR management with academic insights, emphasizing workplace inclusivity and health.

For final theses supervision in SoSe25, she is currently at full capacity. Her publications include the book 'Menopause at Work' (Transcript Verlag), and she actively engages in projects addressing modern workplace challenges.
