Sabine Hüttinger

Prof. Dr. Sabine Hüttinger is a Professor of General Business Administration at the Faculty of Business Administration and Industrial Engineering, Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK Leipzig), since October 1997. She teaches foundational courses in business administration, management, and human resources management, while also conducting management business simulation games.

• Education: Studied economics at the University of Bamberg (focus: marketing, statistics, public law) and earned a Dr. oec. publ. in 1995 for her dissertation on Total Quality Management in the private customer business of branch-oriented credit institutions.
• Research Focus: Market research, service marketing, corporate management, and gender-based career planning.
• Professional Background: Held roles as a researcher at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Ludwig Maximilian University Munich, and GfK Market Research (financial services sector). Founded the alumni association Alumni Absolventenvereinigung im Förderverein HTWK Leipzig e.V. in 1999.
