Rüdiger Wink

Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Wink serves as Professor of Economics at the Faculty of Business Administration and Industrial Engineering, Leipzig University of Applied Sciences (HTWK Leipzig), holding this position since 2004. His academic career includes Senior Fellow roles at the University of Birmingham (2001-2004) and Ruhr Research Institute for Innovation and Structural Policy Bochum (since 1997), following his doctorate (1994) and habilitation (2000) at Ruhr University Bochum.

His educational background shows progression from Research Assistant at the German Advisory Council on Global Environmental Change (1992-1999) through postdoctoral research to professorship. Wink's research expertise spans critical economic domains:
