Ryan Hope Travis is an Assistant Professor in Theatre + Performance at the University of Florida's School of Theatre + Dance. He holds a Ph.D. in Theatre and Performance Research (currently enrolled) from Florida State University and previously earned an M.F.A. from the University of Florida. His work bridges performance art, film, and social activism, focusing on African American diasporic narratives and community organizing through the arts.
