Saffron Henke is an Associate Professor of Theatre and Head of Performance at Colorado State University's School of Music, Theatre, and Dance within the College of Liberal Arts. She holds an M.F.A. from the University of Washington's Professional Training Program. Her roles include artistic director of The Brink Theatre Company and Theatrical Intimacy coordinator at CSU.

Research interests span acting techniques, performance innovation, and theatrical education. Notable works include directing Concord Floral (Jordan Tannahill's digital theatre debut) and The Tale, a Greek mythology-inspired rock musical. Her professional experience includes roles at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Sacramento Theatre Company, and Center Theatre Group. Recent projects include acting in The Seagull film adaptation and the feature film Being.
