معرفی
Reed Hollinger is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Colorado State University (CSU), joining in 2023. Prior to this role, he worked as a research scientist at CSU's Center for Advanced Lasers and Extreme Photonics. His research focuses on ultraintense laser-matter interactions, generating high-energy-density plasmas with applications in secondary sources like MeV x-rays, charged particle beams, neutron sources, and inertial fusion energy. His lab emphasizes multidisciplinary work at the intersection of engineering and applied physics, currently building a state-of-the-art laser facility.
- Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Physics (2011, Clarkson University); Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (2018, Colorado State University).
Prof. Hollinger's work bridges advanced laser development, plasma physics, and nanoscale fabrication for high-intensity laser targets. His research has direct implications for cutting-edge radiography, fusion energy, and extreme photonics.
