Russell Gill is a Professor of English and Faculty Fellow for the living-learning community initiative at Elon University. He has been with the university since 1976 and previously served as Chair of the Department of Literature, Languages and Communications (1983-1988), Coordinator of Humanities, Director of General Studies (1994), and Dean of Arts and Sciences (1996-2000). Gill has held leadership roles on key university committees including Academic Council, Promotions and Tenure Committee, and SACS committees.
