Russell Keck is an Associate Professor in the Department of English Language & Literature and a Faculty Fellow in the Honors College at Harding University. He holds a PhD from Purdue University (2014), an MA from Kansas State University (2008), and a BA from Harding University (2006). His research focuses on late medieval and early modern English literature, with expertise in Chaucer, Spenser, Shakespeare, and Milton, alongside studies in Renaissance Humanism, early English theatre, and Arthurian literature.
Keck teaches courses ranging from introductory writing to specialized topics like British Literature, Literary Theory, and Arthurian Literature. He directs the Office of Fellowship Advising, chairs the Harding Undergraduate Research Conference, and supervises the literary journal Shapes and Names. His editorial roles include service on Arthuriana: The Journal of Arthurian Studies.
- Awards: Recipient of multiple teaching awards, including the Purdue Writing Lab’s Distinguished Tutor (2010), Excellence in Teaching (2013), and Quintilian Awards (2013).
