Rudeina Mkdad is a PhD student at Linköping University, affiliated with the Department of Culture and Society (IKOS) and the Division of Migration, Ethnicity and Society (REMESO). Her research focuses on the negotiation of parenthood by migrant parents from Muslim-majority countries in Sweden through strategies of 'migrant-respectability,' emphasizing alignment with Swedish citizenship norms. She also serves as a course director for internships in Ethnic and Migration Studies and guest lectures in Social and Cultural Analysis.
