Anders Neergaard is a Professor at Linköping University, directing the Institute for Research on Migration, Ethnicity and Society (REMESO). His research focuses on power dynamics, inequality, racism, resistance, and social movements, with a particular emphasis on racial capitalism, trade unions, and migration policies in Sweden and Europe. He holds a leadership role within the Department of Culture and Society (IKOS), overseeing research steering and doctoral supervision. His work bridges political sociology with postcolonial perspectives, addressing global North-South relations and the intersections of race, class, and gender.
