Dr. Rose J. Whitmore is an Associate Professor of Music and College Organist at Principia College. She teaches organ performance, music history, theory, and mathematics courses (algebra through calculus). Her research focuses on organ pedagogy and interdisciplinary connections between music and mathematics. She has performed in Germany and the U.S., with notable collaborations and lectures including electronic music/organ projects with Professor James Hegarty (2019-2020) and a lecture-recital on carillons' influence on organ music (2019).
